DIMITRIS KAPSOMENOS

Συνθέτης στο χώρο της έντεχνης μουσικής, ο Δημήτρης Καψωμένος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα και μεγάλωσε στον Αλικιανό Χανίων. Άρχισε τις μουσικές σπουδές του στο Βενιζέλειο Ωδείο Χανίων, κοντά στη Λελέ Φανδρίδου και το Μιχάλη Βλαζάκη. Συνέχισε στο Εθνικό Ωδείο Αθηνών, με δασκάλους τον Γκαστόν Δεπόλα και τη Ναυσικά Βουτυρά στο τραγούδι, την Κρινώ Καλομοίρη στο πιάνο, τον Χαρ. Εκμετσόγλου στην κιθάρα, τους Μιχάλη Βούρτση, Σώτο Βασιλειάδη και Λεωνίδα Ζώρα στα θεωρητικά. Στη διάρκεια των σπουδών του είχε πολλές διακρίσεις (επαίνους, βραβεία και χρηματικά έπαθλα) και έλαβε έξι πτυχία στους αντίστοιχους τομείς (τραγούδι , όργανα και ανώτερα θεωρητικά). Στην Ιταλία πραγματοποίησε ανώτατο κύκλο σπουδών στα κρατικά Ωδεία της Φλωρεντίας και της Μπολόνιας, καθώς και στη Μουσική Ακαδημία της Σιένα, όπου παρακολούθησε Μπάντα. Διεύθυνση Ορχήστρας και Σύνθεση, κατακτώντας αντίστοιχα διπλώματα. Δάσκαλοί του υπήρξαν οι Carlo Prosperi, Franco Donatoni, Semerado, Rosada κ.ά.
Ως συνθέτης έχει γράψει 95 έργα, που καλύπτουν ένα ευρύτατο φάσμα μουσικών ειδών: 8 έργα για πιάνο, 5 για φλάουτο, 13 για κιθάρα, 3 για βιολοντσέλο, 27 σουίτες (Μουσική δωματίου), 10 χορωδιακά, 11 για δύο και τρεις φωνές, 2 για μια φωνή και πιάνο, 3 σχολικά τραγούδια και συνθέσεις, 4 μουσική για θέατρο και 10 Συμφωνίες, από τις οποίες η τελευταία, με τίτλο «Συμφωνία των Λευκών Ορέων», παρέμεινε ημιτελής (όλο το αρχείο του, με τις αυτόγραφες παρτιτούρες των έργων του, έχει κατατεθεί στο Μουσικό Τμήμα του Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου). Έργα του έχουν διακριθεί σε διαγωνισμούς σύνθεσης και έχουν εκτελεσθεί σε πολυάριθμες συναυλίες στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό (Ιταλία, Γερμανία, Φινλανδία, ΗΠΑ, Κύπρο και Γιουγκοσλαβία: Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Βελιγραδίου).
Ο Δημήτρης Καψωμένος έδρασε, στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος της επαγγελματικής του σταδιοδρομίας, στην Αθήνα, ως καθηγητής του Εθνικού Ωδείου και της Μέσης Εκπαίδευσης, αλλά και στην Κρήτη για σημαντικό διάστημα, όπου χρημάτισε Καλλιτεχνικός Διευθυντής του Βενιζέλειου Ωδείου Χανίων. Υπήρξε μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Συνδέσμου Ελλήνων Μουσουργών, πρόεδρος της Ένωσης Καθηγητών Μέσης Εκπαίδευσης, εμπνευστής και ιδρυτής του Συλλόγου «Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Κρήτης», με στόχο τη δημιουργία των προϋποθέσεων μουσικής παιδείας και στελεχών για τη συγκρότηση Συμφωνικής ορχήστρας στην Κρήτη, που υπήρξε το μεγάλο όνειρο της ζωής του. Στην κατεύθυνση αυτή ανέπτυξε μεγάλη πολιτιστική δραστηριότητα, με δημοσιεύματα, ραδιοφωνικές και τηλεοπτικές εκπομπές, υποτροφίες για νέους μουσικούς, και κυρίως σεμινάρια υψηλού επιπέδου, μέσω του θεσμού «Παγκρήτιες Μουσικές Εκδηλώσεις», που ίδρυσε και διηύθυνε επί σειρά ετών στη Σητεία και στα Χανιά

Iryna Riabchun
Ukrainian pianist Iryna Riabchun graduated from Kiev State Music Academy with excellence. She worked in the Institute of Culture in the Music Academy and in the Hall of the Chamber and Organ Music in Kiev. She was improving her performing and pedagogical qualification during post – graduate studies in the Ukrainian State Music Academy in the class of professor I.Riaboff. She also have studied for four years in the organ class of professor G.Bulibenko in the same Academy.
Iryna Riabchun performed on the most important stages of Ukraine. In 1990 she took part in the Rachmaninoff competition in Moscow and was awarded with the Diploma of Honor.
From 1992 till 1998 she lived in Greece, where she played concerts, recorded music at the Greek Radio and Television. In Greece she recorded two CDs with the music of the contemporary Greek composers D.Kapsomenos and T.Haridis. She also performed with the orchestra in the Megaro Musikis (the biggest Greek Hall for the classical music).
On return to Ukraine she joins the Department of History of Music of National Music Academy in order to proceed with her studies and to prepare thesis on the theory of music. In Kiev she recorded CD with the organ music accompanying famous Ukrainian soprano O.Basystiuk. She organized creative union “Music Workshop” releasing the different cultural projects.
Iryna Riabchun’s repertoire includes works of Ukrainian composers as well as the works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin and also various pieces of contemporary music.
From October 2000 till May 2003 Iryna Riabchun resided in Indonesia. She was been participating in international art festivals, with the different performances and educational projects. Iryna’s performances transmitted by TV channels “Indosiar”, Trans channel, TV-7 and Metro TV, and had positive reaction of the newspapers “Suara Pembaruan” and “Jakarta Post.”
In July 2002 she took part in Jakarta Summer Music Camp where she held a master class and had performed with the JSMC orchestra in Erasmus Huis (conductor Bagus Wiswacarma).
In 2002 pianist also had recorded for the CD collection of the compositions by Mykola Lysenko his “Ukrainian Suite” and released 5 concert programs in Ukraine.
From June 2003 Iryna Riabchun resides in New Delhi. In October – November 2003 she participated in the Theoretical conference, which took place within the celebration of the 90th anniversary of National Music Academy and published two articles in the musical editions of Academy.
In February 4, 2004 during her trip from India to Ukraine Iryna Riabchun released unique project “Lysenko’s Piano Birthday (Imaginary – emotional interpretations of the music by Mykola Lysenko). It was the first in the history piano performance of the one soloist entirely dedicated to the piano music by Mykola Lysenko.“It was the historical event” - said Rada Lysenko - professor of the National Music Academy of Ukraine, granddaughter of the great Ukrainian composer after the concert by Iryna Riabchun which took place in the Lysenko’s House - Museum - “because even composer himself had never played full program of his own compositions. And no less important that Iryna Riabchun’s style of performing music by Lysenko and her piano sound while she was playing the memorial “Blüethner” (piano of composer) were perfect.”
In February 2004 Iryna Riabchun returned back to India and released program “Ukrainian journey” in Calcutta.
From 2005 Iryna resides in Kyiv, tutoring in Children’s Academy of Arts.
